Hitting the ground doing paperwork

The flight back home as travel restrictions were getting tighter was definitely an experience. Flying has never been my favourite way to travel because of all the extra hassle of security checks and what not and the extra paperwork this time for sure didn't make me like it more. Nevertheless it wasn't that bad. I'm glad to be home.

So, I started a new job last week! I'm currently working as a developer at Jyväskylä based Valu and so far it's been great. I'm excited to do web stuff again after taking a little break.

Other than web stuff I've still been playing around with LÖVE quite a bit. I set up an itch.io page for my tiny prototypes and I'll be working on more during the year. My current plan is to work on multiple small prototypes to test out new things and to improve my game development skill as I'm quite new to this still—in practice at least. The dream is to take what I learn and make an actual game in the near future. I don't have a structured roadmap for this but I'll be working towards these goals in 2021. I'm most likely going to write about my gamedev journal during that time.

I'm also most likely going to redesign kauka.fi this year as well but before I get ahead of myself I'll stop writing about all of these half baked plans.
